Juan Muñoz

Juan Muñoz is a dedicated trial attorney at The Injury Law Guides, where he focuses his practice on plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. His areas of expertise include non-subscriber work injury cases, third-party workplace injury claims, workers’ compensation retaliation matters, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability cases. His approach is client-centered, empathetic, and backed by a solid foundation in advocacy developed through diverse legal experiences.

Juan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Originally from Nacogdoches, Texas, Juan went on to receive his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where his passion for serving underserved communities led him to work as a student attorney in the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. During law school, Juan also gained practical experience at a white-collar criminal defense firm, Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, and a plaintiff’s personal injury firm — shaping a well-rounded understanding of advocacy from multiple perspectives.

Prior to joining The Injury Law Guides, Juan practiced family law, building a reputation for compassionate and results-driven counsel. His early experience at a family law firm before law school laid the groundwork for his deep commitment to supporting individuals through challenging circumstances.

Juan is a co-founder of the First Generation Professionals student organization at St. Mary’s Law, reflecting his commitment to mentorship and professional development for underrepresented law students. He is also a proud member of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, staying actively engaged with the local legal community.

When he’s not in the courtroom or working on behalf of his clients, Juan enjoys spending quality time with his wife, visiting family, being outdoors, and playing soccer.
