Ryan Reyna
Meet Ryan Reyna
Ryan Reyna is a dedicated trial attorney at The Injury Law Guides, where he focuses his practice on serious personal injury and non-subscriber work injury cases. Entering his tenth year of practice, Ryan brings a combination of trial experience, sharp legal strategy, and sincere client-centered advocacy to every case he handles. In 2025 alone, Ryan tried four cases to jury verdict as first chair, showing his readiness to take cases all the way when justice requires it.
Ryan’s approach is grounded in empathy and problem-solving. He listens deeply to his clients’ stories, honors their journeys through recovery, and builds each case around who they are, not just their medical bills. An optimist by nature, Ryan values the human experience behind every file and works to ensure his clients feel heard, supported, and represented with dignity.
Before joining The Injury Law Guides, Ryan built a wide-ranging legal background that strengthens his work in serious injury litigation today. He began his career as an AmeriCorps Equal Justice Works Fellow, representing unaccompanied minors in immigration proceedings. He then practiced immigration law in Houston and Austin, and later transitioned into personal injury as both a pre-litigation and litigation attorney at two respected firms. His case experience includes motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls, dog bites, fire and carbon monoxide incidents, wrongful death claims, and complex non-subscriber workplace injury cases.
Ryan earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he received the Top Grade Award in Torts. He holds a B.A. from Baylor University and is admitted to practice in Texas, as well as the Western and Southern Districts of Texas. Throughout his career, Ryan has earned a reputation for strong legal writing, thorough preparation, and a calm, strategic presence in challenging situations. Ryan is motivated by standing up for the “Davids” of the world in their David versus Goliath moments. With his nonprofit roots, he appreciates the contingency-fee structure that allows him to advocate fiercely without adding financial strain to those he represents.
For Ryan, every victory matters, whether it is securing important discovery, defeating a summary judgment motion, or obtaining the full value a client deserves. Outside the courtroom, Ryan is active in his Monticello Park neighborhood community. He and his wife are longtime San Antonio Spurs season-ticket holders and proud pet parents to two dogs and two cats. Ryan enjoys life in San Antonio, where family gatherings are frequent and filled with celebration. Known for his humor and warmth, he believes there is always a reason to smile, and he brings that spirit into his work with clients navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives.

The woman had one of the worst insurance companies representing her and despite the proof I had of her being at fault, they didn’t want to compensate me for my injuries.
I thought I was going to lose it. But this firm was amazing! They were extremely attentive to me, and worked very hard on it. I would absolutely refer anyone to them!
